The Massif Dining Table expands our Massif series through a monumental table carved from a single eucalyptus slab.
The surface is carved entirely by hand, leaving each tool mark visible as a record of the making process and revealing the density and character of the timber.
Two sculptural supports are permanently fixed to the tabletop using traditional through mortise-and-tenon joinery. The tenons pass through the surface, making the construction visible rather than concealed.
Both functional object and sculptural presence, the Massif Dining Table is designed to endure, with a surface that will continue to record the traces of use over time.
Each table is made to order from a single eucalyptus slab. Variations in grain, surface texture, and overall form are a natural result of the material and hand-carving process.
Prior to production, we will present a selection of available slabs for approval, allowing you to choose the timber used for your table.
