A study in balance between raw material and precise intervention. A hand-carved amber slab—defined by its natural depth and irregularity—is held in friction between two opposing bases: solid granite and sheet aluminium.

The amber is carved to match the contours of the granite block, allowing it to sit level while retaining its organic edge. The aluminium element supports the slab within a routed channel, creating a measured contrast between weight and lightness.

This is a 1/1 edition, shaped by the character of the amber and the process of hand finishing.

Finished in hard wax to preserve a satin, tactile surface.
